How about we make the bet that Denton might make with Krucoff? Monthly pageviews for all Gawker Media as determined by Quantcast. 500 million over/under, every month loser pays $1 for every million pageviews/impressions they’re off by. Right now, Quantcast has Gawker Media at something like 443 million monthly pageviews. You in?

I will ABSOLUTELY take that bet (and probably make +$40/month off you). The problem, though, is that bet is not actually connected to the redesign. For one, I don’t think we know when the other sites are rolling this out yet. And secondly, I don’t think even Nick would predict that pageviews go up. The metrics he’s banking on are time-spent and uniques.
So you’re making a horrible bet, which doesn’t really have to do with the redesign, but I’ll take your money! Starting February 1; ending June 1?

Sorry it took me a couple days to respond. We’re on. Let’s total up what each owes the other on 6/1 and pay it out in lump sum then. Looking forward to seeing you soon.
