If Rizzo and Denton win the bet, Denton distributes the cash amongst the editors. Therefore, I care.
Aaaaand life stayed the same.
Right, impressions are the same right now, because uniques are off and pageviews/person are up. But the uniques drop has leveled off, and the pageviews/person hasn’t. I think that uniques will go back up as people get used to the new format, but the higher click rate is an essential/unchanging aspect of the redesign. I could be wrong of course, but for that to happen the click rate needs to go back down or Gawker Media needs to permanently lose audience.
